My name is Rain Lee Lin Jun (he/him/they/them), and I’m a Malaysian Buddhist Baba Nyonya musician, performing artist, visual artist, and content creator. I was born in 2001 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and I’m currently still based in the Klang Valley region of Malaysia.
This page is a page where I feature albums that are still relevant to this day. For previous releases, you can check out my discography page.

An album released for Chinese New Year 2026 in January 2026, blending together elements from Malaysian Chinese and Malaysian Baba Nyonya culture, from the traditional Chinese instruments like Erhu, Guzheng (played via MIDI keyboard) and live 木鱼 (Wooden Fish) performances, along with Pantun Baba Nyonya in Bahasa Melayu.

Winter Like This, released in December 2025, is a reflective original single about slowing down, noticing small moments, and feeling lighter in December, a time that marks the midpoint of a lot of various diverse Malaysian cultural and religious festivals.
From the Mooncake Festival, Deepavali and Kathina in September to November, Christmas in December, Ponggal in January, Chinese New Year in January or February, Ramadan, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and the Siamese and Sinhala New Year in March or April followed by Wesak in May, leaving the summer solstice in June after the Dragon boat festival as the only relatively "free" moment.
That's why it's super important to slow down and notice these small moments all year round, and I picked December as the midpoint.

This Love
This Love was released in December 2024. "This Love is Wandering these walls." That opening line sets the tone for the song. It's about my self-love that wasn't there for a while. Eventually, I realized how important self-love and self-care is, and it is actually a requirement in order to be compassionate, and it is not the same as being selfish.
Many men like myself, regardless of sexual orientation tend to neglect ourselves and view self-care and self-love as feminine, even though there isn't an issue with a male or male-presenting person being feminine.
By taking care of ourselves, we burden others less, we make everyone happier, which is not only in line with the Buddha Dhamma, but also universal human values.

Shadows
This album, released in November 2024, describes a situation I was put in and involved factors outside of my control. It highlights how we should focus on what is within our own capacity to control whenever faced with such challenges and struggles.

healing
This album was made and released in August 2023, during a pretty tough time in life. It was a bunch of cover songs in English, Malay and Mandarin that took me back to happier days. There's nothing much to say other than I'm much better now. If you want to visit the story, you can view it on my homepage.

Thus Have I Sung Too (THIS TOO)
This Dhamma inspired EP was released during the pandemic in 2021 but is still relevant til today, because it stems from the timeless 2,600 year old teachings of the ancient Indian-Nepali philosopher and Teacher Lord Gautama Buddha, or Prince Siddhartha Gautama, known to many as "the Buddha" or "Sakyamuni Buddha".
It is a compilation of Buddhist cover songs originally written by Datuk Seri Dr Victor Wee and the late Sujata Hettiarachchi, such as "The Bodhisattva", "Flower of Mankind", "Wesak Dawn" and "Let's Sing the Praises".
While "Wesak Dawn" has been covered by a lot of other Buddhist singers and Buddhist musician and choir groups, my recordings of all the other Buddhist songs / hymns remain the only recordings available in high quality on streaming services as of January 2026.
